About the Book

Sometimes, life takes a bend from the ordinary and plummets us into an unknown realm of unexpected experiences beyond our control. Our heroine, Chanell and her husband Mike, go from their mundane lifestyle to a fast and furious experience in the midst of the elite fl eet. Guided by a mysterious mentor, who just happened to be at the right place at the right time, she tried to make the best of the situation. This is a compelling rendition of fashion, fantasy and mystery. It takes her from the realm of an ordinary housewife to fashion queen at a break neck pace. Although this is truly and excerpt of fi ction at its best, it’s really good read and the twist at the end is worth the effort.

About the Author

Born in Seminole, Oklahoma, and raised in central Kansas, Nancy spent twenty-three years of her young married life as a cosmetologist. In 1989, she became an independent business owner when her and her husband, Troy, bought a restaurant and a few rentals. In 2003, when Troy and Nancy retired, she opened several antique booths and enjoyed traveling to Dallas to visit her two children and their families. During her lifetime, she had written several songs, poems, and pro bono obituary items for friends and family. She was accepted by the National Society of Poetry to publish one of her items. In 2009, she decided to pull out many of her past written excerpts and go for publication in hopes of keeping her busy and creative. She has tried to live by the adages “Trust God,” “Live your dreams,” and “Always pay it forward.”
