He clings to sports and education as the powers of John Barleycorn and other bad habits take him down the pot filled, dusty road to hell. He finds the path of recovery and trudges through to sobriety towards spirituality. About the Author

I was born in New Jersey in 1961; I attended Catholic schools for my first twelve years. I received a bachelor’s degree in Political Science in 1984 at Stockton State College in New Jersey. After around fifteen years of serving food in Atlantic City’s casinos, I went back to Stockton and eventually got a second bachelor’s degree in Education and a certificate to teach Social Studies. Later I went back again in 2003 to get Master’s credits in Special Education. Today I teach Special Education in Phoenix, Arizona.
