This story involves a family’s life challenges to survive with faith and perseverance. Their young daughter’s troubled marriage, who found her first love early in her life. Mara, the daughter, looks back on this marriage through flashbacks from the beginnings of her childhood. Mara also seeks counseling to save her marriage because of marrying at such a young age. Her husband’s lack of moral stability in marriage becomes quite an obstacle for Mara. She attempts to salvage her marriage, as they continue to grow apart. This book appeals to both men and women, who have faced similar circumstances. In marriages or intimate relationships, when one person is the most committed. And as always it takes two people and compromise, for a relationship to endure.
