About the Book

Art Washburn’s poems are about the natural beauty of the San Luis Valley in Colorado; about the beauty of hawks and kestrels, and all seasons. Memories of childhood and youth are found here, as well as scenes from travels here and abroad. This new collection of poems is poignant and provocative, touching on quotidian experiences reflecting universal truths.

About the Author

Art’s home is in Del Norte, a town nestled in the magnificent San Luis Valley. Art’s poems have been included in five major anthologies. He is the author of Shadow-maker, and Miss Lavington’s Bomb. Art is a calligrapher, an award-winning painter, and enjoys gourmet cooking. Email: wagwig@yahoo.com.
