About the Author

Author Debra Higgins is a wife, mother and Nanna to her grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, writing poetry or working on book ideas. She is employed by Central Rural Electric Cooperative. Her favorite Service Organization is Altrusa International Inc. of Stillwater. She attributes both for enhancing her passion for literacy and developing her leadership skills. Tick, Tock, Tick Tock is her first published book. Becoming an author of children’s books is her dream but more importantly has created a legacy for her family. She dedicates this book to her grandchildren.
