About the Author

Peggy Barfuss Kiesel was born to Gene and Hazel Barfuss in Ogden, Utah on the October 5th, 1958. She has, along with her 4 brothers where she is the 4th of the siblings and the only daughter. When growing she was always teased by her brothers but she loved her brothers very much. The family has a home in Pleasant View where back then they had only a few homes set with orchards around the houses in every street. Peggy, being always interested in pictures, even calling herself a ‘Picturefreak’, and being also into genealogy decided to publish the book to bring about really happy reminiscences. Both strict, Gene and Hazel reared 5 children to give off their own 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
