About the Book

The book contains 7 poems revisiting highlights from being born and raised in the South in the 50's and 60's experiencing lots of social change which has shaped my views and values for life. The seven sermons are metaphorical in nature envisioning comparing an eagle to a chicken when it comes to talking about issues such as dating today, marriage today and leadership today.
