About the Book

An anthology of poetry that takes life and turns it into well known emotions, "No Subject" is meant to reach out to adults and teens alike and let them know that they are not alone, that someone cares, that someone is listening, and that someone understands. An inside look at the author´s life and experiences, "No Subject" is 44 pages (approximately 88 poems) of heart felt emotions from a modern day teen.

About the Author

Born in Concord, Massachusetts in January of 1992, ALN has been writing poetry since the age of twelve. In 2006, at age fourteen, The International Library of Poetry published ALN's first poem, “Unseen Hands“, under the pseudonym Jay Lyn West. The same year ALN was also honored at the International Library of Poetry's annual poetry symposium in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Riviera Hotel and Casino, and was named Poetry Ambassador for the year. ALN currently resides in St. Charles, Missouri where she attends Lindenwood University in pursuit of a double major — her Bachelor's degree in both English and Criminal Justice. ALN plans to continue writing in addition to her intended career of Animal Cruelty Investigation. No Subject: Life From a Teenager’s Point of View is ALN’s first sole published work.
