About the Book
This book helps children become more aware of the four ways they can make music: singing, playing instruments, moving, and listening. Children learn that they can become musicians. Illustrations enhance the concepts for ages four to six. Participation is encouraged . A song is included with a verse for each area.
About the Author
Alfred Foy grew up in New Orleans and Lamar County in South Mississippi. He has extensive experience as a public school music teacher and writer and editor of preschool curriculum material. He taught Education at William Carey University and was named Professor Emeritus of Education. Dr. Foy holds a doctorate of education from The University of Southern Mississippi, Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He has Master’s degrees from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and Middle Tennessee State University. He is the author of Little Fox Essays and An Alphabet of Musical Instruments.
