About the Book

This book exemplifies some of the things that Shannon has endured, and the encounters that she has had with those who have crossed her path. It reveals her pain, progression, passions, perplexities and intimacy with God. Though Shannon’s journey was not a joyous one it has shaped her to be the God fearing woman that she is today.

About the Author

Shannon Swiney, born November 19, 1968 in Newark, N.J. is a proud mother of four beautiful children and two grandchildren. Shannon is a hairstylist by hand, but a woman of God by heart. She was ordained as an Elder in the year of 2007 under the leadership of Pastor Barbara Glanton at Love of Jesus Family Church of Newark. Shannon’s love for God enables her to have a strong steadfast spirit of passion for people, prayer, and intercession. She’s excited and determined to see the hand of God move and wave across the lives of people and their situations that will produce liberty and perseverance. Her favorite scripture is Hebrew 11:1, “Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” She knows without a shadow of a doubt that heaven and earth will pass away, but the word of God will forever stand.
