About the Book

The Simple Plan is the story of an exceptionally gifted boy who at age eight is suddenly stricken with a terminal form of cancer. The story chronicles the eerie, amazing, and finally miraculous way in which the boy teaches those around him about unselfish love and sacrifice.

About the Author

I was raised in the small community of Princeton California in the Sacramento Valley in the 60's and 70's. I have a wonderful family which includes my husband, two daughters, one grandchild, son-in-law, and a pet rabbit named Pedro. In 1993 I founded "Wings of Eagles" The Joseph Alvarez Organization for seriously ill children in memory of my first born son, Joseph. I hope you enjoy my first book, this is a true story meant to inspire everyone who reads it.
