BOOK SUMMARY MY PET 'HERO' This is a true story of my childhood. The life lessons to be taught are: One never forgets a love. Life continues even with the loss of a love. Everything changes. The only thing consistent in life is change. Love comes and goes. New words to learn and use. All these things are Normal life experiences. Parents can use this story to open communication with children and teach that life is not always wonderful, and that unhappy things do happen in life and we all keep going thru the trials and errors of life and LEARN TO SURVIVE.
