About the Book
One minute she was racing across campus, late for the start of an important laboratory experiment in alternate energy; the next minute gaining consciousness in a pitch dark cave. What could be worse than that? Finding herself out of place with no sign of rescue, all alone with few creature comforts and no support groups other than a band of ugly monkeys who had no use for her. What’s a girl to do? Survive, of course! But how does a city girl do that alone in the wilderness.
About the Author
Mr. Becker was born in Missouri. His father taught him to hunt and fish, not only for sport but for self-sufficiency. Vic’s interest about the natural world extended to his studies in college. There he assisted with research into the origins of our solar system and then to the geochemistry of Earth and its moon. Degrees in hand he entered the work-force and followed a profession in nuclear medicine from New Hampshire to California, Europe, Korea, and Canada. In this, his first novel, he has returned to his fascination of the evolution of this planet and the distribution of humans across it.
