About the Book

Puzzle Pieces of My Mind is the first manuscript published by author B. Laurenz. He hopes that his work will inspire others who may also have the desire to publish but lack the self-motivation to do so. Words must be spoken, they cannot be contained. Where there are words, there is a voice and someone is listening. He hopes to take his readers on a journey through the highs and lows of life and also the daily battles within the mind. Puzzle Pieces of My Mind is an inspiring work of poetry detailing inner thoughts and silence of the mind moments.

About the Author

B. Laurenz was born in 1972 and spent his early years between Pennsylvania and North Carolina. He is the son of Bobby & Hattie McDonald and is the middle child of three. He started his undergraduate studies at North Carolina Central University in Durham, North Carolina. He later transferred to Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he completed his studies in Communications/Theatre. He has always had great appreciation of poetry and spoken word. He has been influenced by some of the greatest poets of all times-such as Paul Laurence Dunbar and Langston Hughes, just to name a few. He appreciates the significance of words and their usage. He currently resides in Georgia and is in the process of working on his next manuscript.
