About the Book

This book is a collection of my poetry, mostly written when I was 12 years old but some are from now (13 years). For these poems I take inspiration from everyday things, thoughts and emotions. I like to write about unusual topics or just from a different perspective for known things. I’ve always wanted to publish a book and tried many times (at writing novels) but failed, due to my lack of patience to write a story. However, slowly, my collection of poetry grew and I realized “why not a poetry book”.

About the Author

Tara Fernando is a student of Johnston Heights High School in Surrey, British Columbia. She is 13 years old and has a passion for writing and reading from very young age. Her vivid imagination has the ability to turn every day activities to a memorable poem almost instantly. Her love and caring for Mother Nature inspires her to become an Environmental Scientist in the future. Her poems are touching and mesmerising and elevate you to an all different mindset of your imaginations.
