About the Book

Jack Harrison had retired from the Army. He was now living a quiet life with his dog - reading, listening to old jazz, and now and then writing letters to the OpEd page of the local newspaper. One of his letters offends a muslim cleric in Iran, and the cleric demands the death penalty for the blasphemous letter. Militant Islamists begin searching for Jack. Jack must deal with the threat to his life while ensuring that his family and the girl he loves are safe.

About the Author

Joe Hardy is a retired Army Officer. After leaving active duty, he worked for the Army as a civilian employee in mobilization, deployment, planning, and evaluation of unit readiness. He has since retired from the civilian position. He began writing fiction after he retired. His first book (“Letters to The Editor” by J.C. Hardy) was an action/love story that garnered many favorable comments. He has one son who is now a lawyer, and a foster son who is now working in Honduras.
