About the Author
At the age of twelve, I wrote my first effective letter to President Carter expressing my concerns about evolution being taught as the predominate science at Garden Elementary in Venice, Florida, banning the Holy Bible from schools. Consequently, the Holy Bible remained in our library! It was then that I knew I could write and make a change. As far as literary awards are concerned, I have achieved two Editor’s Choice Awards, one Gold Seal Honorable Mention Award, and was chosen as a semifinalist in the International Library of Poetry contest during the 9/11 terrorist attack. Other achievements include a National Dean’s List award, a Phi Theta Kappa membership, and a BS degree in business administration that is in progress. Now that I have raised three beautiful children who have given me four grandchildren, my time is such that it pleasures me to focus on creating change once again for the better through writing.
