About the Book

Herein lays his visions of life, love, and learning to deal with both, through poetry. James aims for his audience to live a positive, strong, life any chance you get. Every day is another day to live for the better. He wants people to understand that nobody is perfect, and that everyone makes mistakes. You have to learn from these mistakes and make better choices in your life as you live it. Most importantly, James wants his readers to love. He wants you to love every single person who enters your life, no matter what. Love the things that you have and the things that people do for you as well. Within James´s work of literature, he expresses his deepest thoughts and emotions, touching from aspects such as pain, honesty, forgiveness, heart-break and more.

About the Author

James Carty was born in Stoughton, Massachusetts on July 5th, 1994. James attended Brockton High School and graduated June of 2012. Throughout his educational years he continued to thrive as an Honor Roll student. James always had a passion for writing since the 6th grade, but he was very shy about sharing his thoughts and opinions. Poetry entered his life at age 11. Listening to R&B and Rap music, James understood how such artists portrayed their feelings and emotions into verses, but he didn't want to do just that. James wanted to express his thoughts and feelings without being like an actual music artist. Throughout James high school years, his poems developed and in his junior and senior years of high school, more friends and family came to recognized hid abilities and talent with his poetry.
