About the Book
Ever wonder what it would be like to be a squirrel? What do squirrels think about while they are running up and down the trees? Do they think about how they might decorate their own home? If squirrels could decorate, would they buy curtains or wallpaper? Just wondering.
About the Author
I grew up in Chicago, Ilinois until I was 13. Then my family moved to Schaumburg. I graduated from James B. Conant High School and went on to college at Iowa State University where I met my future husband, and then moved to Grinnell, IA. I earned my bachelors degree in elementary education from Buena Vista University, taught at the middle school level for seven years, then had twin daughters, and later a son. We moved to Cameron, MO., where I took a job teaching 7th grade Science. During this time, I earned my Masters Degree in Middle School Education at Baker University. Now we live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and moving up here is probably what has inspired me to follow my dream of writing a children's book.
