About the Book

"Being polite is a small contribution to a big start of something great!” This is a short book of stories about a ten year old boy named Joshua who has experienced the challenges all kids go through when learning how to conduct themselves around others. With the help of supportive adults, Joshua and his friends learn valuable lessons such as knowing when to be patient, when to say please, and how to say excuse me and/or thank you. Manners are vital to our children's development/growth and should be practiced daily.

About the Author

Evelyn H. Armstrong grew up understanding the importance of manners. This simply means “not making others around you feel uncomfortable”. After receiving a MBA from Kaplan University and a bachelor’s degree from Fisk University, she embarked on a writing career. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and would like to offer her insight on childhood experiences.
