About the Illustrator
Joseph D. Cottingham Jr., was born January 19, 1983, to Joe Sr., and Patricia Cottingham of Fayetteville, NC. Joseph is the second oldest of five children, three girls and two boys. After graduating from Terry Sanford Senior High School, Joseph attended the University of North Carolina, at Charlotte, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Art, with a concentration in Graphic Design. Joseph now calls Charlotte home, where he lives with his wife Ashley, his daughter Sydney, and new white fluffy four legged addition to the family, Blanca, who is a baby Bacon Frise.
Joseph’s hope is that the images portrayed in Color Us Rainbow, help to bring to life the story written to help your young boy or girl visualize and learn their colors. I would like to thank my aunt Delilah Cottingham Tyson, for the opportunity to be a part of this literary work.
Joseph would also like to make a special dedication to my late grandmother, Sarah Jane Cottingham. Thank you for the many prayers throughout the years, you will forever be loved and missed.
