Beverly’s grandson, Kyle, was the inspiration for this story.He would often watch the prisms on her window make rainbows dance around her living room. Ms. DeCarlo Beauvais has four children and six grandchildren. She lives in Laval, QC Canada.

Beverly DeCarlo Beauvais taught elementary school for thirty-five years and is presently Program Director of the Readers-Writers Summer Workshop.
