About the Book

This collection of inspirational poems is a deep and true look into a young woman’s heart as she grows into the woman she is today. Growing up in a military family can often be challenging with frequent uprooting of her families lives. Those experiences have made her the strong woman she has come to be. She found peace and solitude by placing her inner feelings in a dairy of poetry. At the tender age of thirteen Samantha started writing her feelings down on paper. A true testimony of her faith she formed words that now will be shared with the world through a collage of short poems. Through up's, downs, hurts and new found loves she takes you on a journey of emotions. Dormant stories that seem to be plucked right from her soul are now presented to her reading audience. Her desire and drive stems from the hope that her lyrical words will help other young women as they walk through their journey of life.

About the Author

My name is Samantha Tamara Haskin and I have been writing poetry in secret since the tender age of 12 years old. I am now a single 30 year old and want to share all that I have to say. The poems started off as just a private way for me to express myself but then grew into a passion of mine. I will continue more volumes of my poetry as well. I am a current resident of Atlanta Georgia and have lived here on an off for 14 years. I want to use my talent to hopefully encourage other "secret" writers to share to the world the gift that they have. The first book that I've composed is an journey of my writing from the time period of 1997 until now. I want to make sure my readers can clearly see the growth of my writing skills unfold before their eyes.
