About the Book

A little boy watches the transformation of his Mother after being treated for breast cancer. Like magic before his eyes transformations are happening that he cannot explain. In this book he sees his Mom turn into a octopus, switch hair like hats, then have pillows on her chest disappear then reappear as rocks. All along her love for him never changes as she explains Mommas get their magic from their children’s love. It is a light hearted view into breast cancer through a child´s eyes. A fun light hearted reading .

About the Author

I am a married mother of 3 children ages 4,7, & 20. I have a BA in Psychology from Bloomfield College and have been a proud New Jerseyan all my life. After being diagnosed with breast cancer in July 2012 it was rough on my family. I decided though that I was not going to let this take any part of my children’s childhood away from them. We keep our household as light and upbeat as possible. As different changes occurred in me during this and I watched my 3 year old at the time, go from scared to amazed at my transformations. I thought it would be fun to share and take a negative to a positive. Also to let other children know it’s ok, people can change but their hearts are still with the ones they love.
