About the Book

This book was written for my Busterpuppy, who is now 14. I found him at an Ice Cream Parlor in North Riverside, Illinois. The year was 1999. That year, I had lost my Grandmother and Father, my job and almost my right hand, in an accident. I was on an IV for 6 months, due to a bone infection. My Busterpuppy saved me, more than I saved him. This book is also for Pennygirl, whom we lost last year. She was 14 as well. I URGE all of you to speak out against Animal Abuse, volunteer and donate. Thank you and God Bless all of you! <3 MTPA

About the Author

I was born in Oak Park, Illinois to an Irish-Italian family. My passion is for those who are neglected and mistreated. I am an animal rights activist and a vegetarian, but oddly enough a Republican. My First Love is my dog, Busterpuppy. He¡¦s a Husky. Gorgeous!!! I found him in 1999, yelping, at three months old, in front of my favorite ice cream parlor. That same year, I had lost my Father, Grandma, Aunt and Uncle, was attacked by a Golden Retriever (Yes! He was in-bred), almost lost my hand to a bone infection from the attack and was in therapy and an IV, for six months. I had also lost my job. But I am an eternal believer that Great Joy comes from Great Pain. Let¡¦s see¡K¡K¡K¡K¡K. I am the oldest of three siblings, with a sister and brother. My brother and his wife had their first child (my nephew), whom I will see next week, in Florida. I¡¦ve written two books under the pen name, Marianne Therese (Children¡¦s and Poetry). I¡¦m working on a third. I have other degrees in Fashion, History, Counseling and Clinical Psychology. I am an Administrator for an automotive engineering company. I¡¦ve been married for 8 years, to my high school sweetheart that I connected with 15 years, after we graduated. We¡¦re avid boaters and jet skiers and live on the Fox River. That¡¦s all folks¡K¡K¡K¡K¡K..Peace Out and God Bless, Sisters and Brothers¡K¡K¡K¡K¡K¡K¡K¡K¡K.I¡¦m also an avid traveler! I¡¦ve visited and lived all over the World. My favorite place is Ireland! Slainte! ;-) I hold 4 degrees at present: Fashion (B.A.), Psych (B.S. and M.S. ) and History (B.A. from GCU ƒº). I am working on my Second Masters in Criminal Justice/Legal Studies, here at GCU.
