About the Book

Potsherds by their nature are small fragments of a larger work of art. This slender volume contains poetry and prose bits of a long and busy life of Jim Wyckoff. From an early age he was immersed in a loving family. His path took him to life as a soldier, civic activist, engineer, scientist and traveler. Always a people person, he organized technology outreach for the many Federal Laboratories. His path also led him to many roles in Unitarian Universalist congregation where he led many Sunday services. These fragments of this life are largely filled with humor and warmth. Occasionally they are the more pompous injunctions to a wayward world. Read and enjoy.
