About the Book

For over eighteen years, April Glasco, the founder and CEO of Second Chance Last Opportunity Inc., a nonprofit organization in Sarasota, Florida, has empowered individuals from all walks of life to gain a sense of self-worth, self-esteem, and confidence through her teaching, counseling, interpersonal workshops, and speaking engagements. This self-help book is the culmination of April’s experiences and years of inspiring men and women in surrounding areas. She created and developed a curriculum entitled Life Management. In this training program, participants find a place of refuge where they can share their fears and conquer them, learn self-expression, and discover new things about themselves. This program has transformed many lives by restoring and building healthy relationships between parents and children, couples, family members, and friends. April’s passion for others has also helped empower individuals to dream bigger, think outside the box, and reach their goals by way of self-employment, continuing their education, career discovery, and advancement.

About the Author

April Yvonne Glasco, MA, in her role as a mental health counselor. She is an expert on the subjects of anger management, parenting, relationships, and goal- setting. April applies these skills as a teacher, counselor, and motivational speaker. Her passion is helping youths and adults become successful and live productive lives for themselves, their families, and their community. She provides real talk and inspiring messages in workshops and seminars.
