About the Author

Mary, a native Californian, wrote her first poem at the age of ten. Having lived in the Hawaiian islands for over 30 years with her husband, three loving children and the blessings of two children from another marriage, Mary continued creating poems through the inspiration and meaning of the beloved place she calls home and from those that have come in and out of her world within these islands. Throughout her life, Mary has been a passionate poet and story teller. Special thanks to Amador, Miriam, Amanda and Junior who have provided Mary with the greatest stories of her life: wife and mother. By debuting her first collection of poems, Mary intends for her readers to walk with her through her journey of life, love, God, hope and struggles and by doing so, learn not only more about Mary’s story but something about your own. We are all one.
