About the Book

From My Heart to Yours is a collection of poems inspired by the life struggles, challenges and triumphs of Daniel J. Cohen. While incarcerated, he began writing as an outlet for what he was feeling inside. While writing, Daniel realized that the poems were not just for him, but for others. Thus From My Heart to Yours is an inspirational collaboration that will give the reader hope and revive their spirit.

About the Author

Daniel J. Cohen was born September 10, 1977 in Chicago, IL. At a young age, Daniel began making decisions that inevitably ended up causing him to serve twelve years in prison. While incarcerated, Daniel decided he could not continue with the same mindset after hearing the voice of the Lord speak to him. He gave his life to Christ while serving his time and became a true advocate for the gospel. Daniel is now free and continues his work for the Lord as an assistant pastor at Central United Community Church in Chicago. He also gives back to the community by mentoring youth and assisting ex-offenders transition back into society.
