About the Book

This is the story of a young man who ignores his parent’s wishes and joins the Marine Corps after graduating from high school, instead of going to college. He becomes afraid while in a combat area and considers himself a coward and gets out. He has a successful construction job, is very happy. Then at the age of 26 he is accused of getting blind drunk and killing a man and his wife. He has no memory of anything or anyone after 8 o’clock the night but was seen leaving the bar at closing time with the two victims. Convicted in first trial, sentenced to life in prison. After 3 years in prison, is granted new trial. Very shocking ending.
