About the Author

Phyllis Rich Carpenter had dreamed of writing a book about the unusual events of her childhood. But as a single working mother, her writing and creativity were limited to projects and presentations generated within the corporate world where she worked, including years spent at IBM, Sprint, and Colonial Pipeline. Now retired, she has written Rolling Waters, her first book, spending nearly three years on the account. Phyllis lives with her daughter in her native Georgia. Two of her grown sons live nearby, along with her four granddaughters. A third son lives in California.
