Are the Sioux Tribes Related to the Israelites Tribes? Or is it just History repeating Itself?

The tribes of Israel and the Lakota, Dakota, and Santee Sioux share similar religious beliefs. This raises the question of whether the two groups of people are related, even though they are separated by about 10,000 miles. If the answer is no—there are no connections —then it is a mysterious case of history repeating itself. Israel’s covenant memory and the Sioux’s spiritual cosmology—the legend of the ten lost tribes of Israel—arise in the New World among native tribes, especially the Sioux nation. The Sioux and the Israelites share the following Parallel beliefs in one true Creator, a Supreme being, and his Spirit. They also share a pattern of a high sacred mount: Sioux Bear Butte and Jewish Temple Mount. Parallel to each group having 13 tribes. Every group of people carries a treasury of sacred stories. Stories are not entertainment. They are maps, mirrors, and gateways into the unseen world. They teach people who they are, where they come from, and how they are meant to walk upon the earth. For the Lakota, Dakota, and Santee Sioux, sacred stories come through visions, dreams, and the teachings of holy beings. There is a real fact of shared words between the Sioux language and the Jewish language. Ancient echoes of shared words for father and mother, despite the difference between a half world apart. Is there an ancient link between the two people, or is history repeating itself? No matter what choice is selected, history repeating itself or some very distant ancient relationship between two different groups of people located thousands of miles apart across the globe, separated by oceans and centuries, one fact is evident. The Lakota, Dakota, and Santee Sioux tribes and the Israelite tribes, the two peoples with their own languages and cultures, closely resembled each other at some point in time. Both carried the same foundational truth: one Creator, one Spirit, which is one Spiritual Revelation. The facts show that it has taken the rest of the world much longer to begin to believe in this same Spiritual Revelation.
