About the Author
Dr. Ronald C. Smith worked as an educator for over forty-two years in public schools and community colleges. He has unique first-hand perspectives of American life from Alaska to Tennessee and from Washington State to Baltimore County. He earned undergraduate and master’s degrees from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and a doctorate from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Massachusetts. He has three adult children, twin sons, and one daughter, and a grandson. Dr. Smith is retired. He presently lives in St. Louis, Missouri.
