About the Book

The Gba Mende land in the southern province of Sierra Leone, West Africa happens to be one of the strong holds of the Mende clan, with a rigid traditional back ground in the South. It is a land that is renowned for upholding the norms of its traditional secret society, which they believe; the foundation of their land is built upon.

About the Author

Mohamed B. Turay who prefers to be called Y.M.B.F was born in the early 70s to a family of traders in Sierra Leone, West Africa. He grew up in Wellington, in the East end of Free Town the capital city where he completed his primary and secondary school education. YMBF then went to The Milton Margai College Of Education and attained a Higher Teacher`s Certificate and a Bachelor degree in education. He later entered the Njala University and attained a Master in Education and a Master in Business Admiration respectively He taught at the Ahmadiyya Muslim Secondary school, Kissy Dock yard in Free Town for some years and later became the Head of the Economics Department.
