About the Book

“History, mystery, and the supernatural all combine to create an exciting adventure story. Explore the French River territory with Abby, Madeleine, Michael, and David as they solve the mystery of Pierre. Who is he and what does he want? Are there such things as ghosts? How are voyageurs and the French Revolution relevant to this area in Ontario? Finding the answers to these questions draws the children together and develops a strong bond that lasts a lifetime. This story has the kind of suspense that will keep you on the edge of your seat and a conclusion that is both surprising and satisfying. Enjoy!” —Caroline Whitfield, Department of English, Brock University
