About the Author

Olufunmilayo Obisesan-.Fajemiseye`s passion to contribute to the advancement and increased awareness of General and Occupational Health and Safety resulted in the birth of this book. Health and safety awareness is changing all over the world and especially in Africa. This book presents a general health and safety tips from A-Z in the African perspective in a simple and easy to understand ways so that everybody that reads the book may become more conscious of their general health and safety as well as recognize reasonable measures to take to ensure their continuous general health and safety. Olufunmilayo is a Specialist member of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM UK) and a Technical member IOSH. She holds the Nebosh International Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety qualification; She is an Associate member of the Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors (IEHF UK). A graduate member Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment UK; A full member of the Stress management society UK and of the National Industrial Safety Council of Nigeria. She is presently a trainer of Health and Safety at the Safety Awareness Scotland in the UK; this organisation educates people of the Ethnic Minority Groups in the UK; who has little or no awareness of basic health and safety before coming to the UK; on general and basic health and safety awareness to further enhances their proper integration into their communities of residence in the UK. Subject to her availability she welcomes invitation to present at seminars, symposium, workshops, and conferences that will help to further promote the awareness to the Africa people on General and Occupational Health and Safety organised by religious groups, non-religious group, government ministries and parastatals, Students unions and Social club or organisations. She was born on the 28th of July to the family of Mr & Mrs D.O.O. Obisesan. She is happily married with children.
