He moves on with his life learning new and exciting things as he does. In particular learning to appreciate and value his point of difference and what a difference that is. About the Author

Neil first started telling Dinky Prickle stories to his children and now tells them to his grand children. A few years ago, he painted a picture of Dinky for a grandchild’s birthday present. This really gave birth to Dinky Prickle. Neil had both the stories and an image to work with. It was now time to put them together for other children to enjoy. This is the first story in what will hopefully become a series of stories about this delightful, child-friendly, loveable character. Adults and children appear equally entranced. Neil and Irene live in Mosgiel, which is best described as an over the hill suburb of Dunedin, New Zealand, where his children and grandchildren live, so Neil considers himself a very lucky man.
