Sitting in his cave I can't help but wonder what the hell is going on. My wife and children are captives of some aliens. I'm starving, freezing and dam near naked. I can't help feeling as though my life were finished. I feel that there must be something I could do to free my family and free the earth to what is about to happen.
From What I heard back at my RV earlier, the aliens said that in three days, just 72 hours their strike force from the planet Zaman arrives to make slaves of all of us. And those who survive the main attack will be made into warriors. I don't have time enough to notify the proper authorities about what is going to happen. It's all up to me to stop it. I will! I must! For the sake of one humanity I have to do something. No matter what happens I have to find a way to stop this horrible event. With the final thought I fell asleep in front of my dwindling fire.
As awoke the next morning, I looked around only to find that I was in some sort of a hospital facility. Nothing around the room seemed familiar. I tried to move my head, but found that I could not and I felt like I was strapped to a bed. All I was able to move was my eyes. I tried to call for help. It felt like I was moving my mouth but nothing was coming out. So I tried to call again and again. But it seemed usless. Then a voice came over a loudspeaker: "Barry Webber, we would appreciate your cooperation in trying to contain yourself for a few more moments until I could see you!"
As if he could read my mind, his next statement caught me off guard, "Yes, Mr. Webber, your wife and children are safe and in our care. You'll be able to see them shortly. But first we must ensure that you will not harm us. Please be patient for just a few more moments."
"I thought to myself, why are they afraid of me? What can I possibly do to them anyway?"
It was as if they could read my mind again, but I knew they could not. Therefore they are only assuming what I wanted to say. Just then another voice came over the loudspeaker and said, "Your powers are much too strong for us! That is why we rendered you helpless for a short time. We seek your help too save your planet and entire Intergalactic Federation from attack! You must have understood what the guard told you about yesterday. Believe me we mean you and your family no harm!"
I forced my eyes too look left as I heard something. Just then, a panel on the left wall slid open. A man came into the room. He did not say a word, he just looked at me. After a few minutes he approached the bed I was lying on. He put his hand on my shoulder and said quitely, "Mr. Webber, we can appreciate what you were going through right now. But the situation is out of our hands at this time. The commander will see you shortly! I believe he is on his way down now"
