Although Cottontip wants to practice for the big race with his friends, his mother needs his help first. He doesn't realize it, but by helping Mother Rabbit, Cottontip gets his wish, and it pays off in the end.

About the Author

Mrs. Linda Burney is an English teacher for the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) in Los Angeles, California. She is a graduate of BIOLA University in LaMirada, California, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in organizational leadership, and a master's degree in secondary curriculum and school leadership. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in theology from the Southern California School of Ministry. Mrs. Burney has been married to Charlie J. Burney for forty years and is the proud mother of five adult children, seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
