It is the story of one woman’s struggle to recover from the effects of childhood abuse, sexual molestation, and parental neglect. The story follows the tragic and sometimes heartbreaking events involving the lives of a young woman and her family. Her personal experiences begin with early childhood experiences of sexual abuse beginning at age nine. It also gives accounts of numerous incidents of physical and sexual abuse, rapes, and forced incest. The story details severe parental neglect and abuse.
