About the Book

I have written poems on napkins at restaurants (ironically the one written at Perkins is not the one in which it was mentioned), on whatever scrap of paper I can find, and on the back of an envelope during the intermission at our local theater’s production of Le Mis. This book is a collection of poems on various topics—some serious, some funny, some whimsical, and some with a holiday theme. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoyed writing them.

Dianne Latchaw lives in DeLand, Florida, near her two grown children. She has three young-adult grandchildren, one new great grandson, and a little Shih Tzu named Gracie. Dianne enjoys reading, watching the ocean, traveling, and writing poetry.
