About the Book

Where fathers fight, their own sons for a piece of bread, and fresh water. Where daughters and mothers, sell themselves for coin. With all of the Anguish, sorrow, death and despair that is always present. The Empire see’s the struggle and offers a deal. A deal of a life time that will change the lives of the people. Young children sold to the Empire, will undergo the process of becoming the best killers to ever walk the streets, but the process itself is shady and cruel. Where only seven of them are allowed to continue; Elijah did not impress the leader of the project, but that didn’t stop a commander seeing potential in this young child. His fighting abilities are somewhat refined, and his ability to survive the test shows heart and instinct. Elijah will soon come to realize the dark past that the Empire has been keeping in the shadows for a millennia.

About the Author

Tristen Herrera was born and raised in Hollywood, Florida. At a young age, he discovered a love for reading and expressing himself with words. During school, he loved learning about history and English, and was on the speech and debate team and has debated for three years for his school. His passion for history is embedded into his novels that give the reader a history lesson without the strain of staring at a history book.Tristen is a teen author and he understands that everyone doesn’t have a passion for intense reading and intricate plots, so he makes plots that are easy to follow, but keeps you questioning what is going to happen next.
