“Oh, come on Tanya. There's no way they know you're a Guardian.” She got up and prepared a cup of coffee. The kettle boiled and the increasing sound of water bubbling inside only caused the need for her to open the envelope to increase to a point she could no longer handle. “What the heck!” She said striding to the envelope. She picked it up took a seat and opened it up. Inside was a blank A-4 page. She flipped the page the other way around, blank. She put the page down in disappointment. “Wow, what a let-down.” A blotch of ink appeared at the centre of the page. Like a snake it crept up to the top of the page where it formed words. Tanya read as the words appeared. “Guardians… Destructive Art…Technique… Sinasa's blank… assassination.” She paused as the words dried up on the page and disappeared. “Oh no!” she cried out jumping out of her seat. She had not realized until now when she stood up that all that surrounded her had been coloured paper white. The room had completely changed. She was no longer in her apartment. “I don't believe I fell for that.” She complained covering her mouth with her hands.

About the Author
Writing from childhood fantasies, Bafo Nathan Yoti takes inspiration from the complex fantasy stories of Anime. He best describes himself as a story teller more than a writer and shows this commitment of focusing on telling a story by creating a story that can live on past the existence of the characters it develops.
