About the Author

Faye Smith is the author of Poems for the Heart and Soul. She is from the Caribbean (originally Jamaica). With its diversity of culture, she likes to do different things, including reading and travelling. She is a mother and has dedicated her life to child caring. Growing up with her adopted mother who was her Aunt, and six cousins away from her biological sister and brothers was fun, but she still have lots of imaginary friends which she would play and read to. School was interesting, and made her who she is today. Her motto is, ‘If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceable with all men.’ (Romans 12:18, KJV). Her desire is to see and know that all people can be free from whatever is holding them captive, be free to spread their wings and fly to reach their potential that God has created them to be.
