About the Author

M. Douglas Clark is the author or co-author of 14 books including The Story of Jesus in which he synthesized the four gospels into one narrative account of the life of Jesus. Practical Loss Control Leadership, is now in its third edition and translated in whole or in part into more than a dozen languages. He developed the objective measurement format and much of the original text for The International Safety Rating System, now in its seventh edition, and the basis of safety and health management systems for numerous corporations around the world. Your Optimal Risk; How to Get More of What You Want and Less of What You Don’t Want pioneered the application of risk management principles to optimizing new ventures. Dr. Clark holds a STD from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and a MA in psychology from the Georgia School of Professional Psychology. He has served as pastor, professor, hospital chaplain, management consultant and trainer, and mental health counselor. He has worked in more than 30 countries. He and his wife make their home near Atlanta, Georgia.
