About the Author

Ray Mootrey, BSc, PP, owner and president of Ingredient Supply Co., Inc. was born in 1938 in Carbonear, Newfoundland, and now lives as a widower in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. He worked most of his life in the food manufacturing business and now intends to spend most of his spare time writing. He has been a professional member of the Canadian Institute of Food Science and Technology, the Canadian Spice Association, the Association for Research and Enlightenment, and many others. Currently, he is a member of the Canadian Authors Association. Mootrey is an avid reader who also likes a movie, a game of pool, or a game of poker.
