This is a children’s story of an exciting adventure where Freddie is trying desperately to keep the chocolate ice cream that Freddie loves frozen so that it doesn’t melt. Freddie finds himself travelling to the North Pole and the South Pole but soon realizes that Mummy is right! The moral of the story is to enjoy and live for the moment and to try new adventures. Accepting that some things in life are bound to happen and that we cannot control the outcome of an inevitable situation, this book teaches children about loss and that nothing will last forever. The ice cream was always going to melt . . . This is a story that will make a difference to the way your child thinks!

About the Author

Sarah Williams is a thirty-five-year-old secretary working at the Royal Derby Hospital in Derby, United Kingdom. Sarah has a three-year-old son, Freddie, and she loves to write stories and poetry. Sarah loves music and dancing! Sarah shares her loves for all things creative with Freddie! After having her son, Freddie, it soon became apparent what was important in life and what could be better than smiling, laughing, playing, having fun, and enjoying every moment? Because, at the end of the day, the children are our future. Remember the days when you would play pretend for hours on end? It was so easy and natural to be creative and dream up adventure.
