About the Book

This is the story of myself who has had multiple sclerosis—MS—for forty years and the two incredible black labs who love me, help me, and brought me back into the public eye for taking the focus off of me and my walking devices and drew the eyes and commotion onto themselves. In writing about me and my incredible dogs, I wanted to let other people—children and adults—know that it is possible to be eventually matched with a certified service dog—not one who is just really extensively trained but one who has passed a rigorous, sometimes two-and-a- half years, of training.
