About the Book

This book is a collection of inspirational poetry. Each poem contains a spiritual message. The poems I write are the words that God bestowed upon my soul from the sound of God’s voice to my pen to tell His people. It will be a blessing to all whom receives it. Some of the poems are about having faith while others are a soulful prayer. These poems will uplift, encourage, inspire and give you ‘Holiness for the Soul.”

About the Author

I was born Tyra Lakeshia Mitchell. To others a daughter, niece, auntie or friend. Most of all I am a child of God. Yes, that’s right! When God created me he broke the mold! God has a purpose for my life. I am beautiful because my God is beautiful. I am a vessel in which God uses. I am a virtuous woman of God. Strong and independent. Yeah that’s me. I am African American. Do not classify me by my ethnicity. These are things that partly define who I am. Judge me by my character. It is more to me than my long brown hair, my hefty curves and bow legs. I am a writer and I shall succeed!
