About the Book

Ancestral is about searching or researching to find comparable history links. Slavery was about buying and selling versus being indentured, and there were differences in trends by legislated regulations. I find both topics fascinating. It’s about kinship groups—nothing to do with ancestral. Indentured labor has its relevance here in Canada, Lord Selkirk Settlement. This is dedicated as my fifty-second-year contribution as a Canadian citizen in my new homeland.

About the Author

In Trinidad and Tobago throughout my school days I felt that I was INTERNATIONALLY connected to Canada via the Atlantic Islands exports of the Atlantic ocean Cod fish. What is known as the main export to our Islands. Salt fish meals, of course, another staple is varieties of Wheat. Flour is exported from many of the Provinces off to the West Indies. Trinidad & Tobago is twinned with the City of St. Catherine, Ontario, Canada. I arrived in the Province of Ontario in 1965 in time for the Anniversary Celebration held in Durndurn Castle grounds, Hamilton, Ontario I was encouraged to join with other Caribbean Islands to show off dances from Trinidad and Tobago known as our vibrant Folk dances as a Troupe member in 1970. 2017 the 150th years of the Joining of the Provinces of Canada The Atlantic Ocean , The Pacific Ocean, The Arctic Ocean, The Baffin Bay, Hudson Bay, Labrador Sea
